| Motherhood and Career |
I see a lot of moms giving up their carrers to become fulltime moms. Nothing wrong with that, but, once in a while, I come accross moms trying to transfer their professional ambitions or expectations to motherhood.
These moms expect their kids to achieve success (academically, socially or athletically) so that they feel like they are doing a good job.
Sometimes they push these kids a little too hard!
Motherhood is not a career: there is no promotion or raise or bonus, it is an act of love and dedication and with all the best intention you can't be certain of the results.
