crying during feeding
my daughter has been crying during feeding. she will start out good and then start to whine a little. its getting bad. we have been using hte NUK nipples as that was all she would take before, she likes the Avent bottles and doesnt whine as much or none. so we baught all that kind. but why would she whine? is the flow to slow or what?

It could be that the flow is too slow. Try a nipple with a faster flow. It could also be reflux. Does she arch her back, or take the bottle for a minute and then push it away? If that's the case you can help by holding her as upright as possible during feeding and for 30 minutes afterward, and giving her smaller amounts more frequently.
If she is also eating solids it could also be that she prefers solids to her bottle. In that case you could try giving her the solids first and then her bottle. |

maybe her formula is giving her gas or she no longer likes the taste of the formula.

she doesnt have reflux, she already eats her solids before her bottle but hse only gets them 2 times a day right now. its not the taste of the formula bc she does good half the time. we changed the bottles yesterdeay and so far so good. i dont know if hte flow is wrong. i guess well wait and see how today goes. thank you.
