| scary thing happen yesterday |
| ok, i went to return some movies last night. i had the car since the camper was still hooked up to the truck. i never drive the car anymore. i just took ella to the next townto get groceriesin it a couple hours prior. so, im going to town and its like4 miles away. im on hte highway going north so the traffic wasnt bad. it sounded weird so i was only goin like 55. i dropped the movies off and got bakc on hte highway. going south so traffic was awful since it was labor day. it sounded even worse. the tire sounded thumpy. we jsut puton some used tires since mitch is laid off until we were back to work. im only going about 50 now. im a mile form my exit, ppl are flicking me off bc im going so slow when all of a sudden my tire explodes!!! it jerked to the left. i was in the right lane, so i almost hit a car passing me. i finally get it off to the side. after killing it bc its a stick and i didnt think to put the clutch in when i hit hte breaks. im barely off hte washboard. im balling and shaking. it was terrifying. thank god it didnt happen when ella was in the car wiht me. ppl wouldnt move over to the left lane os i could get out of hte car. so i crawled out the passenger. not easy in a little saturn. i called my dad bc mitch was homje with ella sleeping. he is our neighbor. he comes and changes my tire. ppl were so rudea nd in a hurry they would nt even move over for him. so he puts the old tire that is in shreds in the middle of the righ tlane trying to get ppl to move over. did htey? no. they jsut slowed down. oine guy even had the balls to go around it onthe wrong side. so he was like on hte right side of the tire damn near hitting my car!!! i jsut can tbelieve how rude ppl are. they are all in such a hurry they would rather hit someone than slow down for 5 minutes to go behind the car next to them to give someone space to change a tire. so next itme yhou see someone with their flashers on, on the side of the road, MOVE OVER!!!! and slow down. you would wnat the same courtesy if it was you or your daughter or your wife on the side of the road. |

Hi,
I am glad you are ok. I have been driving for like 20 years and I notice that people are getting worse at it (it doesnt seem to matter how old they are). How was your trip? How did Ella do on the long ride? |

| Yeah. I hear you. Driving with our new first baby is terrifying enough. I would love to put up the Baby on Board sign but it wouldn't do any good. Everyone has to be first it seems. So glad you are o.k. How scary. |
