I am shocked to realize how many after school activities elementary school children have? There are in school for 61/2 hours, they have hmework and then they have to go to karate, piano, swimming, French, yoga, ballet and soccer on Saturday. I don't know that man adults who have such a busy schedule.

I think the problem is parents that become too competitive or their feel that if their children don't have all these activities they are missing out on some great experience.

What ever happen to relaxing time, unstructed time where you play with your siblings or you have time to stop by at the cookie place with your mom!
