| What age should you put your child in daycare/preschool? |
 I am currently a stay-at-home mom of a one year old boy. My husband and I agreed that when we had our son, I would stay home with him until he started school. Lately, I've been hearing about the benefits of daycare/preschool concerning social skills and early education (i.e. learning ABCs &123s). How early should I consider putting my son in daycare/preschool and for how many hours/days a week? Should I focus on sending him to a more structured preschool or just a fun-loving/carefree daycare? I've heard mixed reviews on this topic and I was hoping everyone on RaisingThem could shed some light on the situation. |
