| should I have another baby?? |
| I know that this is a question my husband and I have to work out, but we keep going back and forth about having another baby, and was wondering if there are some people out there who have more than one and can tell me the positive and negatives of having one more child. I have a 10 month old girl right now. We are just trying to think if its financially wise (we have alot of debt and are only on one income), among some other things. I dont want my daughter to be an only child, but am not sure if I want to go through the pregnancy and 1st year all over again (i had a bad pregnancy with the first) not to mention once again we have some financial issues were trying to work out. So if anyone can tell me their opinions, it would help me out alot. Thanks!! |

You are young and your daughter would probably at one point benefit for a sibling but I am sure she enjoy also some undivided attention. It is good to have a baby when you feel that you don't have to worry about many other things.
Even if I am against the idea of only children (I am one), I would wait a little so that your body and your mind are ready for another one!
Good luck,

| There's no harm in waiting. The baby can only add to the financial issues. If you need a timeline why not resolve those first and then think about having another? One child is a blessing, enjoy, don't put unnecessary pressure on yourselves. |

My childern are 3 1/2 years apart and I felt the same way before we got pregnant and during! I can tell you this, when my
son was 11 months old I was not ready for alot of reasons.
First the whole pregnancy and labor was way too fresh in my mind. Second, my son really needed some alone time with me and my husband. When my daughter was born, not only was I ready to do the whole"baby" thing again, but my son was so ready to be the big bother, and mommies helper! H e was ready to not be the baby anymore. I think having a sibling is so great for a child.....They will always have eachother!
Good luck.....take a year or two off, you need it! |
