Is there life outside this house or is it just air and I don't belong?

Okay so are those little specks outside the window people or just dust of air????

I decided to stay at home not knowing that ment giving up knowing and speaking to adults...if I would have known this was to happen I might have sat down and thaught about what I was doing at least a day longer.

Small town means less people yes, but did not realize it ment no human contact at all.

Anybody else feel this way?  If I don't meet someone with a mind that has made it thru school and wants to talk about more then just why does 5x4 equal 20 I might just explode.

Hi Amy! Have you thought of starting your own home business? I did this and have met and spoken to a lot of other stay at home moms as a result. It has been great!!!

Hi Nicole,

Ya gotta have money to start one and I spend my extra money on my child to put her in sports or camping or even clothes..lol

I talk to people I just don't know anyone.

This is exactly what happen to me. i was stoked to stay home with my first daughter. after my second was born, i was losing my mind! just bc you stay home while the husband works doesnt mean we have to stay home 24/7 does it? lol i completly lost touch with anyone i knew any kind of social life. i was going insane! needless to say i went back to work in december when my youngest was 4 months old and my oldest was 22 months. i would not change it for anything. not only does extra ( not much after daycare and gas) income help, but i cna not tell you how nice it was to FINALLY get some adult interaction!!

Well, I am happy that you didn't go insane but, I gave up work to help my daughter and it took me a long time to come to the choice. But, she has improved so, much and those moments I get with her I would never get if I worked full or part-time. And most of all I am teaching her ya don't need to be rich or well off to live a happy life.
She has a life and I made my choice so, I guess I shouldn't complain but in this very small town all we have is a gas station.

Hey, how are you doing? I am an expecting mom and work part-time. I was at home awhile though after I lost my job before I got my now part-time job. I thought I was going to lose my freaking mind, everybody I knew was working and I had no motivation to do much of anything. I am not the most social of people and that did not help matters either.

How are you doing now? Where do you live?

Have you tried searching for a moms/playgroup in or near your area?

I would have gone insane if not for my local moms group!!
