Is it worth applying to Center for Early Education if you don't know a soul (new in town) and aren't "connected" in some way? i had heard how amazing that school was but after reading the story about it in W magazine (about woman who runs it, Deedie Hudnut) I am speechless. She is married to the head of Harvard-Westlake!
