my 20 month old son won't listen to me!

hi everyone i was hoping i can get some advise. my son is 20 months old and crazy. he runs around all day laughing and playing. which is fine but if i catch him doing something bad and i tell him thats not nice or no throwing he laughs at me! i put him in time out and he laughs.  i don't get what he thinks is so funny, seriously everytime he see's me get angry he laughs in my face.  lol   i just can't take it anymore. please help. thanks

First,, Don't get mad,, keep your cool and try to explain in simple terms, why he can't do the thing that he is in trouble for, I found this helped with my son, instead of saying don't throw toys, I would explain that it hurts the doggie and makes him cry when he gets hit with a toy. Or say that he won't be able to watch his favorite cartoon if the tv gets hit with a toy,, good luck hope this helps
