P.L.A.Y. Group of NWI is a group of mothers who enjoy getting together in a variety of settings to offer encouragement to one another as our children interact and play. The activities are planned one month in advance to give mothers time to plan their schedules. We plan a variety of activities: sledding in the winter, meeting at parks in the summer, play groups in members’ homes, and lunch at restaurants with play areas for the kids. These activities last from one to two hours and provide a time of play for the kids while allowing moms to talk and share experiences. Along with activites planned with our children, we also plan a Moms’ Night Out once or twice a month, where members get together without their children to interact and offer support. We also have once a month a scrapbooking night for those moms who enjoy this activity. This is also a time for members to get together without their children. We are open for all mothers of children from newborn on up who want to join. Our annual dues are $20 for the whole family. Moms are always welcome to come out to two or three group activites before deciding if they would like to join P.L.A.Y. Group of NWI.
