My hope in creating this group is to find moms in the Alexandria area, and surrounding areas, like myself, who want to form a support system. With in the support system I would like to arrange for play-dates, day trips, etc.
Being a mom is a tough job and it's wonderful to have other people to lean on (especially for our own sanity!!) It is also important for our children to be around other children to learn to socialize and make friends.
This group is going to be very laid back. I want everyone to contribute ideas and information if they want. If you don't, that's fine too. The only requirement is that you are a mom looking to make friends.
