About Me

I am a single mom of two - a 5yo and a 15mo. Both boys and I love them beyond belief! I work full-time in Cedar Rapids and live in Central City - just outside(north) of Marion about 10 miles. My current group of friends includes some really great couples and some really great ladies but I would enjoy meeting some people with younger children or other single parents. I think it would be good to have some of the same events happening in our lives and be able to share & discuss how we are dealing with the issues.

About My Family

Single mom. Two boys - 5yo and 15mo. My 5yo thinks that he can & should do everything a grown up can do. He is fearless and wants to experience so much! My 15mo is much more laid back. He has just learned to walk and and really wants to run. It seems he wants to experience everything too! Both boys were preemie - my older was three weeks early and my younger was four weeks early. Surprisingly, that one week difference has been like night and day. My younger boy is still a little peanut but I believe that the sun and competition with his brother will soon have him catching up.
