There's a neat book called, Who Loves Baby? by Sassy at Babies R Us that doesn't have any words, but there are spaces to put pictures of you and anyone else who loves baby. It is pretty cute.

I have been trying to add a book and I am having trouble. It is My First Body Board Book, www.dk.com. This is my daughter’s favorite book aside from Goodnight Moon.

My daughter LOVES the "Peekaboo" series books (www.dk.com).
We have Peekaboo Baby, Playtime Peekaboo, and Bedtime Peekaboo. They are very interactive with touch-and-feel spots, lots of repetition, and large flaps that she loves to open herself. Also it's got nice and thick cardboard pages so it's easy for little fingers to grab and learn to turn pages.

I just got my daughter a Baby Einstein book (and I am not totally addicted to BE products) called something like Vera's house- but it is a giant board book with touch and feel pages. She is 10 months old and loves it. It is so big she can manage the pages and she touches each thing on the page over and over. She is very energetic and this book just takes her to a place where she can just sit there and quietly look and touch.

She also loves "The Very Busy Spider" by Eric Carle which is great because of the animals are big but the pages are quite simple.

And she does love the peek-a-boo books that someone listed above.

Sorry that book is called Violets House, not Vera's house, but it is a good one!

'A' Was Once an Apple Pie is a great one! It goes through the alphabet and uses rhyming. We love to read it!

I really like the book "Chicka, Chicka, Boom Boom". It's an alphabet song that is very sing-songy.

anything by karen katz. i'm sure some of you own at least ONE of these!!!! your child will adore popping open the flaps. there is nothing like a parent's animated reading of a karen katz book to get your baby laughing hysterically ;)

there is a box set of 3 starter books. i promise you will want them ALL! im a nanny and i bring these for all "my kids"

here are a few titles:

where is baby's birthday cake? where is baby's belly button? where is baby's easter basket? etc, etc...
