so far we're just praising him and I have used prizes from the dollar store He's let us know when he has to go potty. We use a lot of potty talk. We say potty, pee pee and poo poo often and ask him if he has to go pee pee in the potty. If he does he says uh huh.
We haven't been pushing it very hard, my daughter is only 15 months old, but when she wants to try she puts her potty seat on the big potty and then takes it off when she is done(we have to put her on the seat). When she does go we praise her lots and she gets pretty proud of herself.
so far my 3 year old son has caught on how to go potty now inthe big potty.he lets us know and he goes in and goes all byhimself.even whipes and dresses himself.we r so proud of him.also he just started standing up peeing and that is great also.
It's best not to use pull ups because they know they can use them and with my experience potty training 4 just put big boy underwear or big girl panties and buy some of those rubber pants to go over them. You can get them at most Walmarts and Targets.
