You put them on a "leash"

I am totally with you that it is stressful to walk with toddler that runs around... but might a bit too much... even the dogs hate it!

I disagree. I had a leash as a child and I thought it was cool. And that was before they came up with those cool little animal backpack ones. I would rather have my child wearing a cute fuzzy backpack that I have a hold on than have her run out into the street, or get taken from me when my back is turned.

I agree. Especially when your in a crowded place. It's good to have a way to keep them close at all times. My son likes to act like he's gonna stay by me..then He will just take off. Scares me

I agree too. I have two boys, an autistic 19 month old and a six month old. I can't chase a toddler with a baby in my arms to. Plus there are always times that you will have to momentarily let go of your childs hand, and toddlers are famous for dashing off as soon as you do.
