Take the 14 north to Rosamond (which is about 10 miles north of Lancaster). There is only 1 Rosamond exit, which is also the exit for Edwards Air Force Base. Exit Rosamond Blvd. and go west (left turn, from LA). Go 3.5 miles to Mojave-Tropico Road; there is a light green EFBC sign on the corner. Turn right, go about 1 mile to Rhyolite, and turn left. EFBC's driveway begins where Rhyolite ends

Open to the public Thursday through Tuesday from 10 am until 4 pm. Closed Wednesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the day of our Feline Follies in August. There is an admission charge of $5 general, $4 seniors 60+, $3 age 3-12, free under 3.
