horror--3 stars. 8th book in the Anita Blake series. I'm still not seeing all sorts of nasty sex that is not isn't important to the plot. Is it still further on in the series, or is this series reputation false? There definitely was a lot of blood and guts, like all the books in this series so far, but I'm okay with that. Anita Blake is still inspiring me to get into better shape so I can kick butt like she does! I'm glad for the directions her love life took in this book as well.
