Any and everything you do with your child is learning time. They are new to this world and are constantly learning now and for years to come.
But, I also like to make one-on-one time with Tori and teach her vocabulary. Yes. Vocabulary.
I have about 8 pair of flashcards with different words on them like:
Mommy, Papa, kiss, hug, yes, no, book, ball, eyes, nose, milk, food, etc...
Just like Baby Can Read I use these flashcards and I ask her:
Which one is....Mommy?...when holding up the mommy card and papa card. And a lot of the times she picks the correct one. Now, this mostly because one just grabs her attention over the other and she doesn't really know what these words are yet. But in time she will repetition is an excellent way for anyone to learn anything!
