I think _Dumbing_Us_Down_ by John Taylor Gatto should be required reading for all parents. If you haven't read it, seriously look into it.

I think I will look into that. I've heard of it before but haven't actually read it.

My daughter is too far ahead of most kids that I don't want her held back by the "normal" kids. I know, most parents think their little one is a genius, but she's mastering some things that are not introduced until 1st or 2nd grades and she's only 4 years old. Either she's advanced or the schools desperately need to catch up. Or both.

I think homeschooling is the best way to go, Honestly I have been homeschooled my self, and I think it is great plus you have more time with your kids while they are still young and you can teach them your beliefs over the general public and you have less sick time less doctor visits and more education and more familly time and better expeiriences without all the drama of drugs and weapons at public schools.
