My son would vomit even if he saw the food. He finally grew out of it, but I would make sure not to put it in front of him. He now eats some of those things and it doesn't bother him.

my son doesnt do it often but if he is in a mood and is being stubborn he does. i always make him eat at least a few bites of his veggies and there are day that he gobbles them like candy so i know he likes them. other days he fight the veggie rule to the point of gagging every bite. ugh!

My son will gag at the sight or smell of things he doesn't like. On occasion though he does actually vomit. I know he does it on purpose, and boy does it drive me nuts!

my son used to gag at the food in front of him as if he was going to womit . this usually happened if he was bored w his food or wasn't what he exactly had appetite for. for instance if i offered exactly what he fancied at the time he would stop the gagging. also some kids do this if they are tense and upset and feel under pressure to eat something they don't want and gag or vomit as a result of nerves! let them have what they like and they will eventually come around to eating other food.

My son does this on a regular basis.. it is not easy standing up to this behavior... We've told him to eat it or eat nothing. It is very hard.. he has to eat his fruit and his vegetables.
