Nursing my 3yo right this second. I plan on nursing both my nurselings (other one currently 10mo) until they are ready to stop.

I agree with Indigo...My son weened himself at 16 months...and my daughter is 4 months and I hope she continues nursing for as long as she wants to....or until she unbuttons my shirt in wal-mart!!

I don't really have a plan to stop; just doing what feels best for us. My daughter is almost 13 months and still nurses, though she is starting to not ask for it as much.

I always thought if I made it to a year I would just stop..Now Annabella is 14 mos & shows no interest in weaning, & quite frankly neither do I! We have given up some feedings, but before bed & after sleep seem to be special to both of us!

For those of you that are still nursing, do you stay at home or do you leave home to work?

I am currently nursing my 12mon old. I am a working mom and have been back to work since she was 3mons. Pumping is very difficult. She has started to show less interest in some feedings so I will stop pumping now. Not sure when we will stop completely. I am hoping she will make that choice for me.

My son right now is 10 months old, I actually plan on going to around 18 months. I love to go till he weans his self or 2 years old but his father doesn't think I should nurse after 18 months.

There wasn't an option for me. I plan to let my kid wean himself. My oldest did this at a year. I know I won't wean before that with this one.

Honestly, I find it odd when mothers continue past the age of 18 months...
