Due Friday.  I've been having bad contractions for almost 2 weeks now with SUPER bad ones that feel like they should be doing something (but aren't!!!!!!) since Friday night. So for right now, I can't sleep worth anything, eat much of anything (too painful with the contractions!), and can barely focus enough to read except for when I'm in the bathtub, since that sooths the evil uterus some.  Any day now (any minute????)......

I've only had one kid make it all the way to the due date (and he was induced the day after the due date) so far so I'm trying not to give up hope that this will all be over soon!

Just got back from the OB's and they've got me down for an induction if I haven't popped by next Friday.

Oakley Acorn arrived Sunday, July 5 at 10pm after about 3 hours of actual labor.  There was a price to pay for such a speedy labor, since I nearly bleed out later that night, so now I know first hand what it feels like to A) sit in a pool of one's own blood and B) pass out from blood loss--an experience I would have rather NOT had!  But I'm okay now.  We just got out of the hospital late last night, since Oakley had some jaundice that needed to be addressed before we left as well.  He was 7lbs 7oz at birth and 20 inches long.  Sooner or later, I'll probably put a picture up on my profile for the world to see.

Congrats Indi! Sounds like you had a rough time for a while but I'm glad to hear all is well now! Can't wait to see pics of the new baby!

Omg I am soooo glad you and the baby are okay.We cannot wait to see some pics of that baby!!!!!!Congrats and many hugz!!!

I put a couple pictures up on my profile page.  My main picture is a picture of Oakley that was taken when he was just a few minutes old.  We took it when my husband declared he looked like my dad, to which I replied, "What?  Bald and grumpy?"  LOL  So we took a picture to send to my dad right away.
