Cosleeping transition

We want my little girl to sleep in her own room b/c we are thinking of having another baby.  Our daughter is 21 mths and already naps in her crib, but sleeps with us at night. She is still breastfeeding (working on weaning for that too) at night- I think b/c she is laying beside me.  I'm scared she will try to climb out of her crib, but I don't think she is ready for a big girl bed yet.  I also nurse her to sleep- but I wish she'd go too sleep on her own.  I'm not a big fan of the CIO methood. It's a mess, huh?  Any suggestions, advice, help will be appreciated.,,
