Lets Talk....mommy scares

Hello All, I saw that nothing had been posted so I thought that I would be the first to do so. I thought maybe we could all start sharing some first time mom scares that we have had and how you got through that crisis. My first scare was when I brought my son home and his umbilical cord had turned form the normal black to a bright yellow. Come to find out that the billi blanket he had to lay on for his jaundice had done that. When I first saw it I just knew that it was infected but thankfully my mom was there to reassure me that it would be ok. So what are some of you scares...??? Lets share.
