Hi. My name is Tiffany and we live in Bellerose. I have a 13 month old son, Anthony, and we are looking to get together to meet with moms who have things in common with us.
So far I have only met one mom and we hit it off well. We took the kids to the park and tried to take the kids to storytime at the bookstore. I have taken my kids to the museum and shows. I am planning to go the Brooklyn Aquarium and Zoo this week. What do you and Anthony like to do?
Someone had told me about the children's museum out in Garden City that I was going to try with him, they supposedly have things for kids all different ages. My husband and I took him to the zoo in Tampa when we were there, it was very, very hot, though. We go for a lot of walks and to the park.
I've been to the Children's Museum and it is great. Also the Cradle of Aviation and Firefighters museum (next door to the Children's museum) are also really nice for kids. The LI puppet theatre puts on an amazing show. As does the Broadhollow Theatre in Elmont (Sat. afternoons).
