I am a psychology student, and many women espaecially are extremely self consience about sex and their bodies, b/c we were told it is bad, or nasty. i practically raised my sister and when she was in that stage i would just tell her the same thing. it is hers, and it is her private areas that no one is allowed to touch. of course she was trying to touch herself everywhere, so i would just distract her if we were out, or direct her to her room or the bathroom. she will get the hang of it without having to outright tell her and here the question WHY? later. she will just think that that is how it is done. it worked for me with my sister and i plan on doing the same thing with my daughter. good luck
