But we've gone dead:) Hi All It's been a while since I popped and I thought I was missing some off the hook debates. However, seems we've all been dormant. Let's get back up and rolling. Are you still following the presidential election race? Thoughts on the current back and forths between Obama and Mc Cain? Thoughts on Obama's trips, on Mc Cain's less than successful attempts during the trips to say "its not fair look at me look at me why is He getting all the attention? Thoughts on the so-called media enfatuation with Obama? On Mc Cain's claims of flip flopping on Obama's part?

I have been following religiously the campaign and I am getting worried. The other day I heard a comment by David Gergen that made a lot of sense. He was saying that with all the political disadvantages (old, not a good campaigner, coming after 8 years of bad Republican administration etc.) Mc Cain is only 5 to 6 point behing Obama according to polls! Gergen was basically suggesting than the Democrats should not assume to win this election and put the extra effort even if that means having Clinton as a VP. I think he is right in the sense that assuming victory is what made loose Democrats twice. Vero
