Hi! Im recently new to the group and was wondering if anyone or the husband was stationed in Quantico Virginia. It is so hard to meet new people since Im 31 weeks pregnant ad my husband is always at work! Just wondering if anyone lived around here or had tips on how to meet other military wives??!
Hi, I live in Newport News Va I don't know how close that is to you. How do you like Va so far? I enjoy it and being close to the beach. I'm from Montana and there aren't any beachs and lakes aren't the same.
Yea Virginia is nice. Were not close to the ocean but we lived in North Carolina for a year and it was beautiful. But we are originally from Michigan. It is so hard to keep moving. Especially with a baby on the way. But we will hopefully be here for the next four years! How to you like va? I dunno how far away you are Im thinking like 100 miles but Im not sure. We live in Spotslyvania.
We like Va but its hard to get to know people and places when we know its only temperary and we will be leaving in Dec if the army doesn't change their minds.
If you have a chance Virginia Beach is a nice place to spend a weekend, we are going again in Sep for a couple of days.
I know about moving with a baby. We moved 250 miles from home when my daughter was 3months and then when she was 8 1/2 months we moved us home because we didn't know if we go with my husband and then when she was 10 months we got to join my husband here. Its been crazy since she was born.

my husbabnd is currently staioned in ky. i am also from mi. i moved down here when my son was 2 1/2 months old, that was a trip all in itself. we moved all of our stuff ourselves. as for meeting people try meetup.com , they may not all be military wives but will help with your area.
