Hello

A friend of mine has been nagging me to get over here and join but I hadn't found the time until school started. Now it has and I'm finally registered! About me- First, I run the Reno Having Fun Playgroup on yahoo and have since Sept of 2007. I also co-moderate a Reno People in Need Group also on yahoo. I'm involved in PTA at my son's school (VP) and I'm also on the WCSD Parent Involvement Committee with the school district. I guess you could say I'm a professional volunteer. I also recently started working from home about two months ago and all of this keeps me very, very busy! I have two great kids, 23 months old and 12 years old so I'm dealing with puberty AND the terrible twos all at the same time. I also take care of my mother who has been living with us since 1999. This also keeps me incredibly busy! I'm married to a great guy and we will have been together 11 years this coming January. In my freetime (if I have any) I like to garden, sew, read and catch up on some movies. (preferably horror or comedy but I'll watch them all. So that's me in a nutshell!

Hi Michelle, I'm Angela, new here too..I also have a 14 year old son & a 14 month old daughter, so I understand exactly what you deal with! I'm looking forward to getting to know other moms & possibly get in a playgroup or 2.

Hi Angela! I stay pretty busy with my playgroup and now PTA and the PIC. If you'd like to come to one of our playdates drop me an e-mail (can you e-mail from this board?) and you can come as a guest. I know my son would love to have more older kids participating in the group. He likes little kids but I know he'd like to hang out with some older kids as well. :)
