Thank you all so much for the great advice I am so happy to say that we tried this morning mixing in a little applesauce that my Dr, recommended and we also tried it at 830 right when he wakes up instead of at 11 and he did great. ...

Hi, when I started feeding my daughter cereal, I only started with once a day. I did it in between feedings, so she wasn't starving and frustrated or too full and frustrated. It is a messy and time consuming process, so don't sweat it. ...

My daughter is almost 7 months too. She also seems to not be into the solids like I expected. Some days she LOVES solids and the next, not so much. I would say as long as he seems satisfied, there is probably nothing to worry about.

That is fine. Solid foods before 1 year old aren't even nutritionally necessary, just a social thing. If he isn't interested, I would back off and wait until he shows an interest. ...

From what you're describing you're doing fine. Same idea when you're exclusively breastfeeding applies after you've introduced solids -- as long as you're drinking plenty of water and feeding your baby till she's satisfied you have enough milk. ...
